HOW IT WORKS

Do you have a website, blog, or online store that draws visitors that may be interested in JohnGaltGifts.com? If so, join our affiliate program! Here's how it works:

  • Create an affiliate account (see above), choosing a unique username that will be used to track your referral sales.
  • Create a text link or use one of our pre-made graphical banner ads (soon to be shown below) anywhere on your site or e-mail signature.
  • To set up your affiliate link, use any page with a .php extension (index.php is highly recommended), adding "?PARTER=yourusername", for example: http://www.johngaltgifts.com/index.php?PARTNER=johngalt
At the end of every month you will receive a store credit at JohnGaltGifts.com, currently 10% of the gross sales generated by your links, issued in the form of a gift certificate.

ATTENTION PROFESSIONAL OR AMATEUR GRAPHIC DESIGNERS!

We are gratefully accepting user submissions for JohnGaltGifts.com banner ads. These would be hosted here and provided to our affiliate members to use to link back to us. We may also use them at some point in rotating ad campaigns such as Google AdWords, if they are very snazzy! Please feel free to be creative, and use product graphics readily available on our site (if you choose to).

What do you get? If we like your ad enough that we may want to use it, we will issue you a $50 gift certificate for our site. You may submit multiple banners, and we will issue a gift certificate for each banner ad that is chosen. Since we do not yet know how much of a response we are going to get for this promotion, we do not know how many we will end up choosing, or how choosey we will be. :-).

This is a list of a recommended banner sizes from Google:

  • Banner (468 x 60) - This is currently the size we are MOST interested in, but all size submissions are certainly welcome!
  • Leaderboard (728 x 90)
  • Skyscraper (120x600)
  • Wide Skyscraper (160x600)
  • Small Square (200 x 200)
  • Square (250 x 250)
  • Medium Rectangle (300 x 250)
  • Large Rectangle (336 x 280)

Also, since these may end up being used on Google, I've included their file specifications (as a recommedation):

  • Maximum 50k file size
  • Acceptable formats: .gif, .jpg, .png, .swf
